Whether you are a graphic designer, photographer, or model, a messy folder of JPGs isn't a portfolio. It's a headache for your client.
A PDF Portfolio is the industry standard. It locks your formatting, ensures your images look crisp on any device, and is easy to email. Here is how to build one for free.
Step 1: Curate Your Best Work
Don't include everything. Pick your best 10-15 images. Ensure they are high quality but not massive (under 5MB each).
Step 2: Use JPG to PDF
You don't need InDesign.
- Go to Super PDF JPG to PDF.
- Upload your selected images.
Step 3: Arrange the Flow
This is where you tell a story.
- Start Strong: Put your absolute best piece first.
- Group by Style: Keep black & white photos together, logos together, etc.
- End Strong: Leave them with something memorable.
- Drag and drop the images in the tool to reorder them.
Step 4: Convert and Download
Click convert. You now have a single file: YourName_Portfolio.pdf.
Step 5: The Final Polish
A 50MB portfolio will get blocked by email servers.
- Run your new portfolio through Super PDF Compress.
- Aim for a final size under 10MB.
Why PDF?
- Control: Clients can't accidentally move or edit your images.
- Compatibility: Opens on every phone and laptop without special software.
